"After leaving the ROWAN, remained in the navy serving aboard the USS GRIDLEY (CG 21) 1977-1980, commissioned/served on the USS FLETCHER (DD 992) 1980-1983, selected for Master Chief EW 1984;
commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer 1985; served on the USS LASALLE (AGF 3) 1985-1986 flagship for Commander Middle East Force, Persian Gulf; served temporary duty special assignments to Commander Carrier Group
Seven staff and Commander Carrier Group One staff onboard USS CONSTELLATION (CV 64) 1986-1989; and completed my naval service of 28 and 1/2 years on 1 January 1995 as a Chief Warrant Officer (CWO 4) onboard the
Guided Missile Destoyer USS CHANDLER (DDG 996) 1993-1995.
I have lived in Chula Vista, CA since 1973 with my wife Mary Lou, of 30 years this month, and currently work as a Systems Engineer/Analyst for MAXIM
Systems, Inc. doing contract work for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. I have a 27 year old son who, after graduating from UC San Diego, started as a San Diego County Sheriff for 1 and 1/2 years and then
transferred to the San Diego Police Dept, where he has been a patrolman for the last 4 and 1/2 years.
Hobbies and past times are growing roses, woodworking, and golfing every chance I get."
